The 1st Support group was initiated on 8th June, 2019. Dr. Vineetha Shoba (HOD- Department of Clinical Immunology and Rehumatology) & Dr. Eliza Pereira (HOD- Department of  Medical-Social Work) discussed the formation of Autoimmune Disease Trust and initiation of Lupus Support Group on the fist Saturday of every month. Dr. Benzita, Dr. Ramiya & Mr. Ebanezer were also involved in planning the initiative of the trust and support group. 

 

We have started with two of our patient's attenders who are on long term medication. Mr. Joy and Mrs. Anusiya, who volunteer in the department of Medico Social Work, actively participated and given their inputs to start the group activities.
